This page explains what personal data the Floorball Asia website handles, why, and what your choices are. We keep it short because we collect very little.

Who we are

The website is run by Floorball Asia (“we”). If you have questions about your data, or want to use any of the rights below, write to us through the contact form.

What we collect and why

Contact form

If you send us a message we receive your first name, last name (optional), email address, phone number (optional) and your message. We use it only to reply to you. The message is delivered to our inbox by email; the website does not keep a copy in its own database. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering enquiries you send us (and steps you ask us to take).

Newsletter

If you sign up, we store your email address, the time you agreed, the wording of the checkbox you ticked, when we sent you a confirmation email, when you confirmed, and, if you unsubscribe, the time you did. This is kept in a database hosted by Cloudflare. We send you one email with a link to confirm that the address is yours. Until you click it you are not subscribed and we do not send you newsletters, and unconfirmed sign-ups may be deleted. Every newsletter will contain an unsubscribe link. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Technical data

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as your IP address and browser details to deliver the site and to protect the forms from abuse (for example by limiting how many requests one address can send). We do not store IP addresses ourselves.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit which pages and how fast the site loads. Cloudflare states that it does not use cookies or local storage, and does not fingerprint visitors for this service. We do not use advertising or social-media tracking.

Cookies

This website does not set cookies and does not use your browser’s local storage, which is why there is no cookie banner. Links to Instagram and Facebook take you to those sites, which have their own policies.

Who processes data for us

These providers may handle data in countries outside your own. Their privacy policies describe the safeguards they use. We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Contact messages are kept in our inbox for as long as needed to answer you and keep a reasonable record of the conversation. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe; after that we keep the address marked as unsubscribed so we never email you again, unless you ask us to delete it.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and you can withdraw consent at any time (every newsletter has an unsubscribe link). You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. Use the contact form to reach us.

Children

Our camps involve young players, but the forms on this website are meant for parents, guardians and other adults. If you believe a child has sent us personal data through the website, tell us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change how the website handles data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
